Architect Duangrit Bunnag is known for his minimalist work, which he says embodies luxury because it offers people something they don’t see every day. Famed for his beautiful resorts such as X2 Resort Kui Buri situated on the shoreline on the Gulf of Thailand and his Villa Noi residence separated between sprawling pine trees, Bunnag has done it again.
Bunnag designed the latest resort, The Naka Phuket located on the West Coast of Phuket, tucked in the mouth of a beautiful expansive shoreline. It’s locale makes The Naka Phuket both exclusive and tranquil.
The resort offers one, two and three bedroom villas ranging from 180 to 520 square meters. Each room offers a host of luxuries including outdoor bath and shower. The rooms suspend over one of the 94 pool villas, giving the feeling of floating and exhilaration. The villa’s infinity pools feel as though they cascade right into the ocean.
Lush green and light filled tropical gardens surround the resort, making each villa have it’s own sense of security and immense privacy. Bunnag’s dark colors and sharp lines separate you from the surrounding while inside but immerse you once outside. It’s a luxury of choice; viewer or participant.
Duangrit Bunnag’s, The Naka Phuket resort truely embodies luxury, offering Thailand’s true hospitality and tranquility.
