Supply Chain Manager

The Role –

  • Coordination with bid support in order to forecast the deliveries and follow-up for local and overseas
  • Actively work together with transport entities to ensure the optimization of delivery lead time
  • Manage the customs clearance including freight & document control and ensure the full transparency of this activity in line with company standard reporting requirement
  • Manage the deliveries of goods to customers included “joint receiving inspection” of delivered items with customers, if required in contract
  • Issuing the delivery report to finance department (request for invoicing, …)
  • Management for claim of wrong delivered items from first report until issuing the final report and conclusion
  • Support the development of trading activities within tls operation for railway parts, repair and associated services, in line with operations objectives

The Person –

Requirements:

  • Has educational qualifications of graduation /post graduation / engineering
  • At least 5 years or more experience of working in a complex engineering and supply chain environment
    familiar with customs import and export regulations and taxation in china,
  • Good communication skills in local language and English.
  • Good computer and reporting skill.
  • Knowledge of railways customers , products and suppliers is a plus
  • Sap knowledge is a plus
