Sr. Manager – Supply Chain

The Role –

The incumbent will be responsible for:

– Structuring the entire supply chain team to cope up with the existing volumes as well as ramp up for future requirements.
– Co ordinate with product, sourcing and sales team for managing smooth flow of merchandise through the system. To also act as the Single point contact for all matters related to SCM.
– Build a team that will be able to deliver flawless execution in view of the increased throughput. Define Goals and objectives for each individual and set benchmark that can be compared to the best in the industry.
– Vendor analysis, selection, coordination and management for all 3PL functions as well as management of CHA and such other intermediaries that are part of the function.
– Build internal checks and balances to ensure accuracy of deliveries, and move towards executing orders with minimum errors.
– Deliver on budgets on all aspects – (a) Quantitative (throughput) (b) Qualitative (KPIs) and (c) Financial (total cost of warehousing and distribution).
– The incumbent will need to possess a flair for operations and should have the ability to get into the details of every problem. Pedigree will be a major focus area for selection of candidate, as will the right field / industry of experience.

The Person –

Should be well versed in Warehousing, customs, excise, bonded warehouse, inward logistics, should have negotiated with freights C&F agents, etc

Qualification: Specialization in SCM, with added focus on warehousing and distribution
