Alexandra Loske was born and brought up in Germany and came to England in 1997. She is an art historian and writer based at the Royal Pavilion in Brighton and the University of Sussex. Her particular interests
are eighteenth and early nineteenth century European art and architecture and the history of colour in print culture and historic interiors. Alexandra is the also managing editor of the Frogmore Press, which publishes the literary journal The Frogmore Papers and other collections.
